Temporary Special Needs Assistant (SNA) sought to work 26.25 hours per week
The school is seeking to appoint a caring and happy Special Needs Assistant with an excellent and proven history of child centred practice to join our friendly village Church of England Infant School. Ability to professionally support the learning, pastoral, healthcare and special educational needs of children on a 1:1 level (as well as within targeted small groups) will be essential. This is a temporary post to the school attached to the needs of named children; the post will offer the successful applicant an excellent opportunity to be immersed in a supportive professional environment where training will be provided. This role is to start as soon as possible after the application & interview process is complete.
Marchwood C of E Infant School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS and CBL check and good references, one of which must be from the most recent place of employment. We are an equal opportunities employer and encourage prospective applicants to visit the school.
