During the morning of our Christingle service we made our Christingles. It was very tempting to lick our fingers when it came to putting the sweets on but luckily we were very good and saved them until home time. While making them, we talked about what each part of the Christingle meant. Can your child tell you all about it? During the service we walked down the corridor with our candles lit, walking very slowly and carefully. I think a lot of us enjoyed blowing the candle out at the end before we sang Christmas carols. Mr Calvert asked if the children could wait until they got home to eat the sweets as adults at home would be able to see the whole Christingle. Did any of Birch class make it home?
