"The Lord your God takes care of this land and watches over it throughout the year."
This year we have had so much fun in gardening club already. We started gardening club in September and were so thankful to our young gardeners who cleared the beds, picked up the leaves and made the garden look so much tidier.
As we approached Christmas we were able to get some bulbs into pots and pop them around the school. These looked fantastic in the Spring and really made the school feel very cheerful!
The Spring allowed us to get some plants in ready for harvesting this summer. We have dug a new bed for the sweet peas and runner beans and have planted our strawberries in their cosy bed of straw.
We have also had to do lots of weeding in our herb garden and have moved the mint into its own area as it was starting to take over!
We have also planted some summer bulbs and we are already starting to see them pop up around the school!
