Our topic for this half term is a science based topic called "Special Plants and Special Places". As part of this topic we set of into our school grounds to see which wild flowers we could spot growing around our school. We took our identification sheets with us and set off! We were quite surprised at how many wild plants we found in our grounds, including Buttercups, Daisies, Dandelions and Nettles.
Children, maybe you could go for a walk with your grown-ups to see which flowers you can spot? Maybe you could talk to your grown-up about whether they are wild flowers or garden flowers?
