12 Days of Christmas Challenge

Make your own golf course

Coach Carley, Mrs Chalmers and the key worker children were having fun in the sun yesterday. They made their own crazy golf course with things that they found around the school. Maybe you could do something at home?

How to make your very own Elmer the Elephant.

Materials needed:

- 1 empty and clean milk bottle

-brightly coloured tissue paper or newspaper cut into squares

-felt tip pens

-cardboard box

1 - Stand the milk bottle up and cut it just below the handle. This will form the elephant's trunk. Then cut off the entire bottom half of the bottle and cut four legs into it. You might like an adult to help you.

2 - Stick tissue paper/newspaper all over your elephant. You might like to overlap the colours to improve your design.

3 - Draw 2 semi circles, with a tab at the bottom onto the cardboard and cut them out.

4 - Cover the ears with the tissue paper/newspaper and attach to your elephant using the tab.

5 - For the eyes you can either make them by cutting out 2 cardboard circles or you can use googly eyes if you have them.

I can't wait to see what designs you come up with.
