Click here to find out how to make the salt dough letters

First you need to measure out equal amounts of self raising flour, salt and water. Use a small bowl or cup for this.

Next stir the mixture in a bowl or pan until it's gloopy and smooth, then spoon the mixture into a sandwich bag or an old washing up liquid bottle.
Then cut a small hole in the bottom corner of your sandwich bag and squeeze all the mixture towards the corner of the bag. Don't forget to seal the top.
Cover a baking tray with some baking paper or some silver foil.

Now you're ready to pipe.

Remember to form your letters carefully, making sure that you start and finish in the right place. Don't forget the lead in at the start of all of your letters.

YOU MUST HAVE A GROWN UP TO HELP YOU WITH THIS PART.

Heat the oven to about 200 degrees c, then place the baking tray with the letters on into the oven for about 5 mins, or until they are hard.

When the letters are ready ask a grown up to take them out of the oven for you and wait for them to cool down before decorating. Use your imagination to decorate the letters!

DON'T EAT THEM THEY ARE VERY SALTY AND NOT GOOD FOR YOU!
