As part of our Science based topic, 'Fur, Feathers and Scales', we would have been learning about the different groups animals can be sorted into by what they eat.

There are 3 different groups that animals can fall into based on the food they eat to survive:

Carnivores - animals that only eat meat.

Herbivores - animals that only eat plants.

Omnivores - animals that eat both meat and plants.

frown Are you are carnivore, herbivore or omnivore?

Watch the clips and have a read through the Powerpoint and have a go at sorting the animals into the correct groups on the Venn diagram.

You could even try and find out your own facts about Carnivores, Herbivores and Omnivores.

If you do not have a printer you can copy and draw the Venn diagram into your child's home learning book. They can write the name and draw picture of the animal in the place they think it needs to go.
