Welcome to Marchwood C of E Infant School

I am delighted to introduce you to our lovely school, where we are proud of our warm, welcoming  "family" feel and our ethos of care. We want our children's first experience of school to be positive and rewarding, and for them to be happy, safe and secure enough to thrive in our care. We are passionate about inspiring lifelong learning through a rich and inspiring curriculum and a range of enriching opportunities.

We are situated within the village of Marchwood on the outskirts of the New Forest and benefit from expansive grounds, with opportunities to learn in every corner. We welcome applications from families situated both within and outside of the local area.

Admissions

If you would like your child to attend our school, please see details of our admission arrangements below. Our published admission number for Year R is 60. Normally children remain at this school until the end of the summer term in Year 2 (the academic year when they turn 7), when they transfer to junior school.

Admissions for Year R for September 2025

If your child is 4 or turns 4 before 1st September 2025, they can start school in September 2025. Applications open for Hampshire on 1 November 2024. 

We will be hosting school tours on the following dates  to help parents choose the right school for their child. Please call the school office on 023 8086 8819 to book a place. 

In-Year Applications

In-year applications can be made at any time for children moving schools or families needing to make a late application for Year R for September 2023.Please use the link below. Please be aware that these are only for applications into current year groups.
