Welcome to Marchwood Church of England Infant School

On behalf of the children, staff and governors I am delighted to welcome you to the website for Marchwood C of E Infant School. Staff, parents and visitors alike comment on our ethos and the enthusiasm and love our children have for their school and each other. 

I am very proud to be the Headteacher of such a unique school. Collectively, we are very proud of our Marchwood "family" and are committed to learning and growing together as we are all "Learning for Life."

Our school family is built upon our core Christian values of love, courage and hope. We strive to develop resilient, caring, curious children who will make a positive difference to the world they live in. We aim to be a place where children and adults, of all faiths or none, flourish and are inspired by the Christian character and values of our school. 

We want children's first experience of school to be positive and rewarding and for our children to be happy, safe and secure enough to thrive in our care. We have a caring, dedicated staff who nurture the children, challenge them to achieve their best and encourage them to not be deterred when things are hard. We aim to make learning irresistible; bringing it alive through varied and memorable experiences. This includes making good use of the beautiful, expansive grounds that we are so lucky to have.
