Art and Design
Art is an opportunity for pupils to develop their creativity and expression. It can engage, inspire and challenge pupils and enable them to think critically and reflectively about their own and others' work.
We teach children to master key skills and techniques and equip them with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design. We also help our pupils understand the important historical and cultural significance of art, artists and designers. Please see below for our curriculum statement of intent for Art.
