Learning for Life
Tuesday 21st October 2025. 6.30pm - School Hall
All parents and friends of our school community welcome, refreshments provided.
Who are the PTA?
A group of ordinary parents and staff who give time freely to organize fundraising and social activities. The funds raised are used to enrich all of the children’s learning and school experience. In doing so, children are given the opportunity to take part in a variety of social events, which are great fun and help to develop a sense of belonging to the school and wider community. Also on the committee are the Head Teacher and one or two of the teaching staff. Meetings are held approximately once a month and this is a great way to meet other parents and form friendships.
What can you do?
Every parent has their children’s educational interest at heart and that is why, maybe, you would like to support us and join the PTA Committee. However, you may prefer just to help out at some of the events that we organize (children welcome). Both are excellent ways for you to meet and make friends with other parents at the school. We are always looking for new and different ideas for enjoyable fundraising events. Maybe you have a skill or talent (or know someone) that can help with PTA projects. You might work for a company that could provide funding for particular projects or useful materials for science, art or outside learning. In fact, anything that might be of use! Finally, you can really help by coming along to our events and taking part in the activities that we organize. Look out for regular PTA news on the weekly newsletter and visit our page on the school website.
